As our name implies, we specialize in solar and generator options for RVs, campers, cabins and more. However, we also go beyond solar with other services to provide people with fully off-grid solutions. Digital Nomads & Van-Lifers
For those who prefer more flexible lifestyle of working and playing wherever they end up, we can right-size a system with the right economics to feed your adventure. Mostly the RV platforms are Class B, Custom Vans and Skoolies. Being tighter spaces and a more minimalist set of requirements, these systems typically consist of 600+ watts of solar, 2000 watts of AC power and 200+ amp hours of lithium storage.
Full-Timers
Retirees and working families have more needs to bring the home-like experience to their new house on wheels. Being comfortable, safe, and worry-free are primary objectives of our customers who enjoy life on the road. Mostly the RV platforms are Class A, Class C, Fifth Wheels, and Travel Trailers. These systems typically consist of 1200+ watts of solar, 3000+ watts of AC power and 400+ amp hours of lithium storage.
Weekend Escapers
Working hard during the week must be countered by enjoyment on the weekends. Boondocking creates experiences once thought impossible! The freedom to connect with nature and enjoy a relaxing, or exciting moment by yourself or with friends. To power the adventure, keep warm and stay connected for all styles of RVs, requires the right solution at the right price. Off Grid Living
Disconnecting from the Matrix and living on your own terms requires a curated approach that is uniquely yours. Tiny homes, cabins, barndominiums and even small homes can be fully off-grid. These systems are generally much larger and in some cases backed up with an integrated generator to ensure full resiliency in the event of low solar production. They can range from RV sized systems to ones that are grid-connected equivalents.

RV Generators
We now offer several options of RV generators. These units can be installed as a stand alone power system or fully integrated into your solar power system. These small, light, quiet units from Cummins and RVMP provide the extra power to run larger loads like an Air Conditioner or assist as a battery charger when mother nature changes the weather on you. Unlike traditional, large units we can install a much more fuel friendly, space saving and more affordable unit from a top manufacturer that transforms your RV into one that can provide the power you need in almost all conditions.
Automation
With a little magic, we can bring additional innovation to your solar powered energy solution through system automation. Your new system can automatically shift power sources based on current conditions. From auto switching the refrigerator from propane to AC power when solar is present, to protecting your from forgetting to turn the water heater to propane while boondocking. Automating these tasks gives you more time for play and less time worrying.
Communication & Preparedness
We have partnered with a local radio club called Pikes Peak GMRS to bring you three exceptional types of radio kits. With the combined expertise of Off Grid Solar Specialists and Pikes Peak GMRS, we ensure that you receive the right equipment, all pre-programmed with local recreation and emergency channels, ready to work the first time it's powered on. We also offer professional installation of mobile units for RVs and personal vehicles.
Beginner Package:
This value pre-programmed handheld unit covers critical Amateur frequencies and all GMRS frequencies, with the ability to use local repeaters. Perfect for beginners, this package starts at $250.
Adventurer Package:
This package includes everything in the Beginner Package plus a powerful mobile radio that can be easily installed in a vehicle, RV, or UTV. It provides premium communication capabilities between vehicles, your home base, and emergency networks, making it essential for those who frequently boondock in remote areas. This package starts at $500 (additional installation costs may apply).
Ultimate Package:
Expanding on the Adventurer Package, the Ultimate Package offers a complete turnkey system. Off Grid Solar Specialists will install communications on your ride and provide a premium handheld unit for ultimate flexibility. This package is custom created to meet your specific needs.

Worth the drive! After having trouble getting local solar installers to look over my system I was able to schedule an appt with Off-Grid solar. They looked over the system and deemed the controlled good, battery good enough and the old panel shot. A new 200watt panel was ordered and I was able to have it installed as I wait (easy job so stick around they said ) a few weeks later. If you have a smaller system and are having troubles Off grid solar should be able to help you!

As always, excellent work from Off Grid team. This job was a slight solar upgrade - some more charging power and a couple of batteries. (love our Battleborn batteries). More important to is a phased approach to rid of 110v requirements. The team installed a 12V router (& other electronics) so that now our Starlink runs on 12V. Now while boondocking there is even less 110V drain - I love it.
